Case study
Hyperspectral imaging with broadband fibers
Fiber optic bundles are an excellent flexible offset for spectral or hyperspectral imaging.
Indeed, each optical fiber in the bundle constitutes one pixel of the transported image. This way, bundles of several hundreds of fibers arranged at both ends can be assembled for offsets of several tens of meters.
Broadband optical fibers are particularly well suited for this type of application since they can cover a wide range of the observed spectrum.
Product focus
Multimode fiber-optic bundles
SEDI-ATI designs and manufactures multimode fiber optic assemblies such as bundles in straight, bifurcated (Y-cable), or octopus (fan-out) configurations. The end configurations can be either round, square, hexagonal, or any other geometry. And the fibers can be either random or coherently mapped at both ends.
We offer fiber bundles with core diameters ranging from 50 µm to 1000 µm, up to several tens of meters in length, and for light transmission in the UV-VIS or VIS-IR spectra.
These products can also incorporate a hermetic feedthrough along their length to isolate an extreme environment area from the instrumentation area.
The bundles can count from a few optical fibers to hundreds of fibers. There are almost no limits but your imagination!

Successful renewal of our ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications
The quality culture is well established at SEDI-ATI. In our continuous improvement approach, we have chosen AFNOR to audit our quality management systems with a fresh look. We are proud to announce that we have just obtained the renewal of our ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certifications for 3 new years! This is for us a mark of excellence and for our customers a guarantee that we are doing everything possible to meet their requirements and increase their satisfaction.
A word from Jean-François Vinchant, CEO and President of SEDI-ATI: “Thank you all for your involvement and congratulations for this well-conducted audit!”
